There are two masters on earth, and the Devil is not one of them. While the reality of the evil one is clear in
the Scripture, Jesus didn’t call him a master. The two masters on earth are God
and Money. Money is a dangerous master. Somebody said that money is a terrific
servant but a terrible master. If money is a master, then we are either its servants
or its master. Jesus said, you cannot serve two masters. You cannot serve God
and money. Notice the word “CANNOT”? Jesus didn’t say, you should not serve God
and money. It is impossible to serve both. Either God is your master or your
money. If God is your master, then make money your servant. Money is a tool that must be used not a master to be served.
