The following is the outline of my message last Sunday. They are only "skeleton" without flesh as I didn't write out my entire sermon.

WE NEED GOD

Are you good without God?
Billions of people today think they are good without God. Did you ever ask the question, "Why do I need
God?" Millions of people can live their life without God therefore they do not need God. Are you living your life as if there is no God? Two sides of a coin: Millions of people don't
need God and deny that there is God. On the other hand, those who claim and believe in God make decisions as though God did not exist. There are those who
deny God and don't believe God, and there are those who believe God, like us,
but live their lives as if God did not exist.
If I can live my life without God,
then I don't need God. Really? Of course you can live your life without God, but consider the following points.
Today, I would like to share with you this message: WHY DO WE NEED GOD?

1. WE HAVE A
PROBLEM ONLY GOD CAN SOLVE.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of
God."
—Rom. 3: 23
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is
eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
—Rom. 6: 23
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No
one comes to the Father except through me. —John
14: 6
2. WE HAVE A NEED ONLY GOD CAN FILL.
King Solomon tried everything to find satisfaction. He tried
pleasure, knowledge, wealth, liquor, power, popularity, etc.
Why? We are created in God's image. Then God said, “Let us
make man in our image, after our likeness...."
—Genesis 1: 26
“There is a vacuum in the heart of every person, and it can never be
filled by any created thing. It can only be filled by God, made known through
Jesus Christ.”
—Blaise Pascal, Pensees
3. WE HAVE A LIFE ONLY GOD CAN GIVE US MEANING.
What is the purpose of life? Note: Previous messages on
God's Purpose for our live.
Life is meaningless without God! If there is no God, there
is no design and purpose for human life.
4. WE HAVE A DESTINY ONLY GOD CAN CHANGE
"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate
and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
—Matthew 7: 13
Believing on something is not
enough. Sincerity is not enough. You must put your faith on the proper object. Just
because you believe you are going to heaven does not mean you are. You must
believe in Jesus, the ONLY way to heaven. The Bible says, "There is no
salvation in no one else. For there is no other name under heaven whereby we
can be saved."
Jesus said, I am the way the
truth and the life. No comes to the Father except through me."
This is what other called,
"The arrogance of Christianity." The claim of Jesus that he is the
only way to God cannot be changed. If ever there is another way to heaven, God
is the judge and the only one who can set the terms.
Only Jesus can change our eternal destiny based on the choice that we make about Him! There are those who insist that God already predestined those who will be save and regardless of their choice, they will still be saved.
The good news is that Jesus died for all and everyone who believes in Him will be saved!
Billions of people do not need God! But....the truth we
learned this morning compels us to believe and live our life for God!
THE CHOICE IS YOURS! Choosing Jesus is the best one of all because it is better to believe God than not to believe at all!
